This page explains how the annual WPLO subscription works, how to cancel its renewal and when we refund a payment.
Version 1 · In effect from 16 November 2026
1. Your subscription
- A WPLO subscription lasts a year and is paid in advance, at the price shown to you before you pay. There is no free trial.
- It starts once your payment is confirmed and renews automatically every 12 months using the same payment method, unless you cancel the renewal beforehand.
- While the subscription is up to date, the account is active and receives alerts. If it isn't — because it has expired, has not been renewed or a payment has been reversed — the account stops being active and stops receiving alerts.
- Payments are processed by PayPal. We never receive or store your card or PayPal account details.
- The subscription can only be bought at register.wplo.org. The app is free and has nothing to buy in it.
2. Cancelling the renewal
You can cancel at any time from your PayPal account, under automatic payments, or by emailing support@wplo.org. When you cancel, you keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for; after that, the account is no longer active and stops receiving alerts.
What then happens to your data is explained in our Privacy Notice.
3. Refunds
The subscription is non-refundable: we don't refund all or part of the fee if you cancel before the paid period ends or stop using the service.
We do give a full refund:
- if we charged you by mistake, or more than once for the same period;
- if, after charging you, we can't activate your account.
To ask for one, email support@wplo.org within 30 days of the charge, with your account's email address and the payment date. Refunds go back to the original payment method.
None of this limits any rights you have under consumer protection law that applies to you and cannot be waived.
4. Disputes and chargebacks
If you open a dispute or a chargeback with PayPal or your bank and the payment is reversed, your account stops being active and stops receiving alerts. Please write to us first — we can often sort things out directly.
5. Who charges you
The Worldwide Preventive Logistics Observatory (WPLO) · Observatorio Mundial de Logística Preventiva (OMLP), a non-profit association incorporated in the Republic of Panama (Public Registry Folio No. 25057689, RUC 25057689-3-2024). Contact: support@wplo.org.
